I think that ifHughes had lived in Wordsworths time his style of writing would nothave been as popular as it is today, this is because Hughes style ofwriting has a more dramatic and dark edge to it whilst Wordsworthspoetry is more romantic so to speak and has a gentler way of puttingthings.
